Oslo lufthavn Gardermoen (OSL) is the nearest airport to Hemsedal, so we recommend you fly to OSL and either take the train/shuttle combo or rent a car at the airport. If you plan to explore Oslo, there is a short (23 min) train to the city center.

If you have a family or plan to adventure around Norway, rent a car at the airport (Oslo is 200km away and Bergen is 290km away from venue). You won’t need it once you’re at Huso Lodge, but if you want to check out Hemsedal and the surrounding area, you would have time to do so on Saturday morning.

There is a train that runs from Oslo to Gol, and in Gol we will provide a shuttle (on Friday) to Huso Lodge. If you plan to travel on another day, you can transfer at Gol and continue on to Hemsedal. As our guests’ plans shape up, we will collect info and make travel suggestions (maybe a party train?).
